Forge Vault
Forge Vault lets you commit your $ANKR for a fixed period to earn Forge Points at a higher rate than holding. Committed $ANKR is locked on-chain until its unlock date, and the points rate scales with both the amount you commit and the duration you choose, with longer commitments earning at higher multipliers.
Open the Vault from the top nav to get started.
How it works
- Connect your wallet (or sign in with your Ankr Account).
- Select one of the available amounts of $ANKR to commit.
- Select a duration. Longer durations earn higher point multipliers; the current durations and multipliers are shown in the Vault.
- Confirm the transactions. Committing takes two steps: first Approve (it allows the Vault to use the amount you selected), then Commit. If you commit from your Ankr Account, each step asks for a passkey confirmation. Your $ANKR is locked until the unlock date shown before you confirm.
Each commit creates its own position with its own amount, duration, multiplier, and unlock date. You can add more $ANKR at any time by creating a new position, including at a different duration, and your positions, total committed $ANKR, and accrued points are all visible in the Vault.
Your first commit also earns a one-time First Commit bonus, shown in the Ankr campaign.
Earning and claiming points
How Vault points are earned and claimed:
- Each position earns points at its own rate, based on its amount and duration multiplier.
- Vault points are earned in fixed 14-day periods, separately for each position. When a period ends, its points become claimable, and unclaimed points from completed periods do not expire.
- Claims count toward the current Heat, the same as any other mission points.
Committed $ANKR and held $ANKR earn separately: tokens in the Vault earn through Vault positions, while tokens in your wallet earn through the Hold $ANKR mission. The same tokens never earn through both at once. Note that committing moves $ANKR out of your wallet balance, which can lower your Hold $ANKR mission tier or reset its streak if your remaining balance falls below a tier threshold.
Committing does not hurt your Forge Drop eligibility: $ANKR committed in the Vault, from any of your wallets, is added to your highest wallet balance when eligibility is checked, and expired commitments count until they are withdrawn.
Withdrawing
Committed $ANKR cannot be withdrawn before its unlock date. There is no early exit.
Once a position reaches its unlock date, open the Withdraw tab in the Vault. There you can withdraw that position's $ANKR back to your wallet, or relock it for the same amount. Points you have accrued stay yours and can be claimed after you withdraw or relock. Positions unlock independently, each on its own date.
Committing from different wallets
You can commit from a connected external wallet or from your Ankr Account. Positions created from different wallets are separate positions, and withdrawals return $ANKR to the wallet that created the position. To see or withdraw positions created from another wallet, switch to that wallet in the Vault.
Frequently asked questions
What is Forge Vault?
Forge Vault lets you commit $ANKR for a fixed period to earn Forge Points at a higher rate than holding. Each commit is locked on-chain until its unlock date, and longer durations earn higher multipliers.
Can I withdraw early?
No. Committed $ANKR is locked until the position's unlock date. Once unlocked, withdraw or relock any time from the Withdraw tab.
Can I add more $ANKR to an existing position?
Positions are fixed once created. To commit more $ANKR, create a new position, at the same duration or a different one. Each position earns and unlocks independently.
How often can I claim Vault points?
Points become claimable at the end of each fixed 14-day period, separately for each position. Unclaimed points from completed periods do not expire. Claims count toward the current Heat.
Does committing affect my Forge Drop eligibility?
No. $ANKR committed in the Vault, from any of your wallets, is added to your highest wallet balance when Forge Drop eligibility is checked, and expired commitments count until they are withdrawn. See Points & Rewards for how eligibility works.
Do committed tokens also earn Hold $ANKR mission points?
No. Tokens earn through one mission at a time: committed $ANKR earns through its Vault position, and $ANKR in your wallet earns through the Hold mission.
