Filecoin mainnet is on Lotus v1.38.1

Docs Team

Our Filecoin mainnet nodes run Lotus v1.38.1. Upstream recommends this release for nodes that serve Ethereum log queries and receipts: when the data behind an event is missing, those calls now return an error instead of an incomplete result. No method limits, error codes or rate limits changed on our side.

Roundup: Sepolia runs Glamsterdam, Filecoin and IoTeX fork on 19 October, eth_sendTransaction returns -32075

Docs Team

eth_sendTransaction now returns -32075 Method disabled on every EVM chain, instead of an error from the node. We never hold keys for you, so the method could not send a transaction before either; only the error you get back changed. Ethereum Sepolia activated Glamsterdam on 6 October, Filecoin mainnet moves to network version 29 and IoTeX mainnet to the Zanzibar hard fork on 19 October, and our nodes for all three already run the releases that carry them. XRP Ledger mainnet is on the rippled 3.4.1 security release. Whitechain Sepolia is on the Web3 API platform, the x402 manifest lists paid JSON-RPC routes, and Agent RPC MCP 0.2.4 is on npm and in the MCP Registry.

Roundup: Filecoin Calibration moves to Solstice, Sui protocol 137 and IOTA protocol 36 are live

Docs Team

Filecoin's Calibration network activates network version 29 (Solstice) on 28 September at 12:59:30 UTC, and our Calibration nodes already run the release candidate that carries it. Sui mainnet moved to protocol 137, IOTA mainnet to protocol 36, and Ethereum mainnet and Sepolia to reth v2.6.0. We also corrected the 15 September end-of-support list: it now has eighteen endpoints, and one of the additions answered keyless calls.

Roundup: Avalanche Helicon lands ahead of 22 September, and this month's end-of-support dates arrive

Docs Team

Avalanche's Helicon upgrade activates on 22 September at 15:00 UTC, and our nodes already run the release that carries it. Core shipped an emergency hardfork, Sui moved to protocol 136, and Ethereum mainnet and Sepolia moved to reth v2.5.2. Separately, Solana activated Transaction V1 today, and that one needs a change in your client.

Roundup: Taiko Unzen, Arbitrum Nitro 3.11.3, and clients rolled forward on 30 chains

Docs Team

Nine of these upgrades tracked a hard activation, where a node left on the old version stops following the chain. Taiko's Unzen fork and Somnia's Jig fork both activated inside this window and we landed ahead of both. Monad testnet activated MONAD_TEN on 12 August, and our nodes were already on the release that carries it. Nothing changed in RPC method limits, error codes or rate limits.
