Whitechain Sepolia is in the docs

We serve the Whitechain Sepolia testnet on rpc.ankr.com/whitechain_testnet over HTTPS. Whitechain is an OP Stack Layer 2 with WBT as its gas token. The chain is now in the chain list, with its own API reference.

Docs​

  • Whitechain is in the chain list. Whitechain carries the testnet endpoint, the MetaMask settings (chain ID 1874, WBT), and the supported and unsupported method lists. The API reference documents 38 methods, including five debug_trace* and five trace_* methods. Every example on those pages except the eth_sendRawTransaction placeholder was run against the testnet, and the response shown is the one it returned.

Worth checking on your side​

  • The gas token is WBT, not ETH. Balances, eth_gasPrice and fee estimates are denominated in WBT (18 decimals). Tooling that assumes ETH as the native currency needs the currency set explicitly.
  • debug_* and trace_* are for Premium and Enterprise. A request without an API key returns -32053.
  • Filter and txpool methods are blocked. eth_newFilter, eth_newBlockFilter, eth_newPendingTransactionFilter, eth_getFilterChanges, eth_getFilterLogs, eth_uninstallFilter and txpool_* return -32075 with an API key; txpool_* returns -32053 without one. Use eth_getLogs instead.
  • Without an API key, eth_getLogs covers about 1,000 blocks per call. With 1 s blocks that is under 17 minutes of history; a larger range returns -32062. Page through long ranges.
  • HTTPS only. There is no WSS endpoint for this chain.
  • No RPC method limits, error codes, batch caps or range caps changed on any other chain.
