The 0G Mainnet is Live! Use Ankr’s New 0G RPC

Ankr is excited to announce the release of 0G on our Web3 API service, the new modular L1 paving the way for high-performance AI applications! This is great news for developers looking to build advanced dApps on top of 0G, as Web3 API users can now access 0G Public and Premium RPCs, make request calls, and receive information returns identical to those they would get by running a node themselves.

What is 0G?
“0G” (aka “0G Labs” or “Zero Gravity”) is a new Layer-1 blockchain project designed especially for AI-native, data-intensive dApps. It integrates modular components for compute, storage, and data availability, and aims to offer high scalability, low cost, and strong compatibility for builders.
-
0G is a modular Layer-1 blockchain built to power on-chain AI workloads.
-
It calls itself a decentralized AI operating system (dAIOS), meaning it tries to unify infrastructure layers (compute, storage, data availability) under one design.
-
It is EVM-compatible, so developers who have built with Ethereum (Solidity, tools, tooling) can more readily reuse their skills.
-
It supports horizontal scalability via modular architecture. Increases in demand can be handled by adding or expanding modules without needing to redesign the entire system.
-
Their team claims performance numbers such as 11,000 TPS per shard, with block times around 500 ms in test environments.
-
0G combines shared staking and shared security models, letting validators participate across components, and it leverages mechanisms to ensure data availability and randomness (e.g. VRF for selecting data-availability nodes)
-
The Aristotle Mainnet has launched with the goal of making the modular AI-optimized layer-1 fully live.
0G’s Mainnet Just Launched: What To Know
0G’s mainnet launch is important because it marks the move from testnet promises to a live, production blockchain where real value, applications, and users now interact. For builders, this means you can deploy smart contracts, leverage its modular AI-ready infrastructure, and tap into a network that launched with an array of ecosystem partners and integrations. For validators and infrastructure providers, it opens staking, node operation, and service opportunities, while investors now see the token’s real economics in play.
What Are Ankr’s New 0G RPC Connections?
-
Our 0G RPCs (Remote Procedure Calls) connect your wallet, command-line interface, or decentralized applications with the 0G mainnet and testnet. They act as a messenger or blockchain router that relays on-chain information between 0G nodes, apps, and ultimately end-users so they can execute necessary tasks like transactions, populate wallet balances, fetch ownership information, and much more.
-
0G RPC endpoints are a gateway for developers to interface directly with 0G — a portal to communicate easily, remotely, and with no need to go through the DevOps of establishing their own 0G nodes.
-
Asphere is providing a geo-distributed 0G RPC comprised of blockchain nodes running worldwide for incredibly low latency and reliable connections.
How Do the 0G RPCs Help Developers?
Building with 0G is an excellent choice for creating high-performance, AI-focused dApps, but it requires access to the information on 0G nodes to do so. Therefore, Ankr’s RPCs solve the following developer troubles:
Eliminates complex node ops - 0G RPCs will completely remove the need for developers to set up their own 0G nodes, removing hours of time spent building, calibrating, and fixing node issues.
Grants access to advanced tools - Ankr’s Premium RPC Plan instantly grants access to the best tools to build applications quickly, including:
-
At least 90,000 0G req/minute
-
Dedicated 0G endpoints
-
Prioritized requests
-
Priority support portal
-
WebSockets (WS) capabilities
Powers wallets, apps, and open-source software that need access to 0G - Connect with a cluster of high-performance nodes that hold the information you need to build and operate applications with 0G chain capabilities.
Supports the 0G network - Ankr and Asphere will strengthen the 0G network globally by offering easier development and a broader, decentralized node infrastructure.
How to Make Your First Call to 0G
You can now get started building on the 0G network by heading to our RPC Service to make your first call! You can use the 0G endpoint to call the chain using the standard EVM JSON RPC methods.
